Julia is a French-American multimedia journalist, producer and award-winning filmmaker with over 8 years of experience across production and creative communications.
Originally from California, Julia has worked at news outlets, media collectives, nonprofits and international organizations in the US, the UK, Denmark, Switzerland and Greenland since 2016. Along with a unique blend of skills and expertise, she’s also cultivated a strong network of collaborators.
Julia is a human-centric storyteller. While the places, subjects and formats range, people are the throughline in her work. Since 2021, Julia’s journalistic focus has been building people-focused journalism and more sustainable media practices in Greenland.
When she’s not chasing a new lead, she freelances as a videographer and producer to help local businesses and community organizations craft content that tells their story and supports their communications goals.
She is based between Copenhagen and Qaqortoq.
